Omikunle Vincent & Co is a growing indigenous firm of Chartered Accountants, with strength in assurance, tax, financial, and business advisory services. Our motivation derives from being able to help our clients deliver on promises to their markets and stakeholders, and about making a difference in the communities in which we live and work.

Our audit and financial services consulting practice involves professionals with work experience spanning core accounting, assurance, administrative, and other operational functions in government parastatals, non-for-profit organizations, banking institutions, universities, manufacturing, financial services, oil & gas, agro-allied, engineering, information technology, and other forms of for-profit corporate organizations. Our previous engagements have covered a plethora of services, some of which include general audits, accounts set-up, and internal control specific assignments.

Our Charges

We charge moderately for all our services based on the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) “Approved Professional Fees”. We are however open to negotiations on the totality of fees for audit and other task specific engagement.

Managing Partner – Vincent Omikunle – HND, MBA, FCA

Mr Omikunle is a graduate of Accountancy from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. He is Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU), Ile – Ife.

His practicing experience started from Oluwole Ogunbo & Co, a firm of Chartered Accountants and from there he moved to Fola Oyekan Estate Surveyor & Valuers as the Head of Accounts. He worked as Head of Finance and Admin to Pharmabase Nigria Limited (a Pharmaceutical Company) and as a Financial Accountant at Locks & Switches Nig. Ltd before crossing to the banking industry.

While in the banking industry, he handled investigations of several cases of fraud, credit irregularities and abuses, debt recoveries, and resolution of various customers’ complaints bothering on account reconciliation and balance disputes. Some of these included allegations of under-payment of interest, excessive bank charges, and other claims against the Bank from customers and other stakeholders. As a resident auditor of Intercontinental Bank responsible for three branches. His commitment resulted in his positioning in the Inspection department at the Head office where he worked until taking up full-time professional practice in Omikunle Vincent & Co. as the managing partner.

The managing partner is a seasoned professional with 20 years’ experience in accountancy, auditing, taxation, consultancy, management control, and reporting. He is a registered professional with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN).

Uwabunkonye Mpamugo - B.Sc., ACTI, ACA, ACPA

Mr. Mpamugo is a senior Partner in the firm. A graduate of Government & Public Administration from the University of Imo. Trained with the firms of Oluropo Ajayi & Co; and Robert Ade-Odiachi & Co, Chartered Accountants (Now SIAO Partners). He later joined a renowned construction firm CAT Construction Group Limited where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and rose to the position of a Head of Finance and Accounts. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate member of both Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration (CILPAN).

He has over 18 years professional experience in accountancy, auditing, taxation, consultancy, investment analysis, management control and reporting. He is exposed to assignments involving manufacturing and service companies, financial institutions and government establishments. He is a numerate professional registered with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN). He is the partner overseeing the audit arm of the firm.

Victor Tiwalola Olufemi - HND, MBA, DBA (ABD), ACA

Mr. Olufemi is an associate partner in Omikunle Vincent & Co. A graduate of Accountancy from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, he is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and holds a Masters’ in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Armed with an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Mr. Olufemi is information technology savvy and enriches his versatility with research and continued learning. He is currently at the concluding stage of his study to earn a doctorate in business administration (DBA) in Walden University, United States of America. Mr. Olufemi is versed in business planning and experienced with systems and process documentation for review and improvement.

Between public service and the private sector, He has over 24 years work experience. In the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos (CMUL) where he spent 14 years, he had a stint at the administration department before crossing over to the accounts department where his experience spanned the preparation of final accounts, salaries and wages, gratuities and pensions, and budget preparation. His last position in the institution was as head of the Votes Control unit in charge of the preparation of budgets and estimates of CMUL for submission to the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC). Part of Mr. Olufemi’s responsibility included the supervision of the disbursement and utilization of the funds for the Harvard-sponsored Microbicide project.

Mr. Olufemi proceeded to work in the private sector as a Chartered Accountant for various organizations gaining experience in accounting, assurance, management, and business improvement. His trail in the private sector commenced in Woobs Resources Ltd that redesigned and reconstructed the Nigerian Army mammy market at Oshodi into the ultra-modern shopping complex called “The Arena”. He later moved on to become the Head of Account of Etel Mobile Solutions, the retail arm of Telecgsm Limited, a major distributor of Nokia Phones in Nigeria at the time. Finally, after a stint in the apparel care industry (Garment care Ltd.), he joined the team at the firm of Omikunle Vincent & Co (Chartered Accountants) until becoming a partner.
